Brinsley Animal Rescue was founded by Jon Beresford and partner Bethan Hewis; who met in 2001 and shared a passion for animals.
They started by volunteering for various animal charities, and soon found their house was full of rescued pets and wild animals and eventually decided to move.
They soon expanded to take on farm animals as well as pets and wild animals and continue to expand as the funds allow.
Brinsley Animal Rescue is a Registered Charity run for animals by volunteers. It has four trustees who take care of the charity.
All of the money raised for the Charity goes directly into helping animals by paying for food, bedding, treatment and vets bills.
The charity rescues pets, wild animals and farm animals and aims to rehome pets and farm animals and release wild animals back into the wild.
Where they cannot rehome pets and farm animals, they provide them with permanent sanctuary.
